Did I ever mention how amazing Deux North's trip to northern California was? More than a few times I yelled to stop the car so we could hop out, not to take pictures of the riders (which we did a lot of), but to take photos of the beautiful scenery. We went from desert to damp rain forest, foggy hills to amazing cliffs, in the span of three days. I’ll later post pictures (on BKLYN1834’s tumblr) and a story, talking about the experience, the people, etc. but for now I want to take some time to admire what this ride looked like to the entire group. As far as California, I had only ever been to Los Angeles and San Diego. I wonder why I never had any desire to visit northern California. Perhaps Los Angeles was all I wanted to know at the time; maybe the north would ruin my experience of California as a whole. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Northern California was completely enchanting. I think I get it now.

So happy britpop type stuff and deep(ish) house have made a decent come back. 2014 has so far been the best year for mainstream music since idk, some time in the 90s.

Also someone’s blasting an old Puddle of Mudd album and every now and then I can hear a frantic banging on door type noise but I don’t think they can hear you mateeee.
